Amanda's correct, these new 'ranking courses' are real oni courses. Today I played beats and bands (xmix2) which had a great sound but a pretty tame stepchart. I have an unexplained soft spot for 'a geisha's dream' so don't take my analysis for it's weight in gold. I played ranking course 1 (because ranking course 2 had standard songs - ew) which had 1998  Dance Dance Revolution Will Flourish All you oni course noobs can now enjoy oni courses with speed mods! |

I played ddr x today and it was actually really fun. Both the new courses are fun to play. I aaa'd a geisha's dream (with a dropped hold, yeah whatever). Also I didnt know holds broke your combo (I guess they do now, that's lame...)
how often are the unlocks coming out? is it like once a month right?

?? It's not like X2 is going to arrive in US at the same time as Japan, and even if it did that wouldn't prevent them releasing the max unlock code. I think with SN2 it was every month or so, hoping this time the unlocks come out a little quicker |
